The People Behind the Purpose
The heart and leadership driving MS Funding Alliance — where compassion meets action for the chronic illness community.
At the heart of MS Funding Alliance are two visionaries who turned personal battles into a shared mission. Latoya Pollard, Founder and Executive Director, and Shaniquah Irvin, President, lead with purpose, empathy, and resilience. Together, they bring lived experience, strategic leadership, and an unwavering belief that chronic illness warriors deserve access to both wellness and opportunity. What began as a vision to provide financial relief has grown into a movement — one that uplifts, equips, and empowers individuals to not just survive, but thrive.

Our Story
MS Funding Alliance was born from Latoya’s journey of navigating life with Multiple Sclerosis and recognizing how financial strain can magnify the challenges of chronic illness. What started as a desire to help one family at a time has evolved into a community-driven initiative focused on advocacy, emergency assistance, and entrepreneurial support. Together with President Shaniquah, a fellow advocate passionate about equity and empowerment, the organization stands as a beacon of hope for chronic warriors seeking stability and independence.
