Funding Programs
MS Funding Alliance is developing financial-assistance and entrepreneurial grant programs for eligible individuals living with chronic illness in the United States.
Our Emergency Assistance Program is intended to help address qualifying urgent expenses, while the Financial Resilience Micro Grant and Growth Grant programs are designed to support entrepreneurs living with chronic illness at different stages of their business journey.
Each program has its own purpose, eligibility requirements, application process, and funding availability. Applications are not currently open.

Our Programs
Emergency Stability Program
The Emergency Assistance Program provides one-time financial assistance of up to $250 to eligible individuals living with chronic illness who are experiencing urgent financial hardship. Assistance may be used for approved essential expenses, including household utilities, essential transportation, medical-related costs, and other qualifying needs.
Assistance is subject to eligibility requirements and available funding.
Financial Resilience Microgrant Program
The Financial Resilience Microgrant Program provides a one-time $500 award to eligible entrepreneurs living with chronic illness who are starting or strengthening a small business. Funding may be used for approved business expenses that support business development, stability, or growth.
Awards are subject to eligibility requirements and available funding.
Growth Grant Program
The Growth Grant Program provides a one-time $1,000 award to eligible entrepreneurs living with chronic illness who are ready to strengthen or expand an existing business. Funding may be used for approved business expenses that support sustainable growth and long-term progress.
Selected recipients may also receive downloadable business resources. Additional educational opportunities may be offered as funding, capacity, and partnerships become available.
Patient Empowerment & Education Program
The Patient Empowerment & Education Program is designed to connect individuals living with chronic illness with educational resources, workshops, wellness activities, and community-based support. Program offerings may address navigating healthcare systems, accessing helpful resources, financial well-being, self-advocacy, and managing life with chronic illness.
Workshops and resources will be announced as they become available.
Each program is designed to provide practical, targeted support that promotes stability, resilience, and improved quality of life for individuals living with chronic illness.

Immediate Financial Support to Stabilize Essential Needs During Crisis
The Emergency Stability Program provides short-term financial assistance to individuals living with chronic illness who are facing an urgent financial hardship that threatens housing, essential utilities, or access to medical care.
Assistance is designed to stabilize essential living conditions during moments of crisis. Applications are reviewed with care and confidentiality to ensure support reaches those with immediate need.
Financial Resilience Microgrant Program
Targeted Financial Support to Strengthen Income Stability
The Financial Resilience Microgrant Program provides limited financial assistance to individuals living with chronic illness who are working toward income stability or pursuing health-aligned business or financial goals.
Microgrants may be used for approved expenses such as supplies, equipment, marketing, or technology that support sustainable income efforts. This short-term funding is designed to reduce financial strain, support consistency, and promote financial resilience without compromising health.
GROWTH & CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM
Building Capacity for Sustainable Growth and Stability
The Growth & Capacity Building Program provides financial assistance and access to educational resources for individuals living with chronic illness who are strengthening or expanding income-generating efforts.
In addition to funding, participants may access practical tools and learning resources focused on operations, planning, and sustainability. This program is designed to support long-term stability by helping individuals build capacity in ways that align with their health and circumstances.
Patient Empowerment & Education Program
Education, Resources, and Community Support for Chronic Illness Navigation
The Patient Empowerment & Education Program provides educational workshops, resource guides, and community learning opportunities designed to help individuals living with chronic illness better understand and manage their healthcare journey.
Through practical education and supportive programming, participants gain tools to navigate healthcare systems, access trusted resources, and build confidence in managing both their health and financial stability.
Programs are offered through workshops, community sessions, and educational initiatives that promote knowledge, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.
